If you have a prize possession, Family member or even pet you may want to know where they are in case of emergency. With this small waterproof GPS Tracker you will easily be able locate them to within 5m.

Measuring just 5 cm² and 1.5 cm deep the device is easy to travel with and operates by using a standard size sim card. In our test we used a pay-as-you-go Sim and topped it up with £10 and then installed it after removing the rear case using a small Phillips screwdriver.

We were then able to call the SIM number from another phone and within seconds a SMS message was sent back with a Google maps location. When you then click on the Google maps link it takes you to a map location with coordinates and a pinpoint. This clearly could be absolutely vital in trying to locate your lost item. The tracker has a great facility where you can either set an admin which in effect is a primary telephone number which can only receive locations from the tracker. The admin has the ability to add up to 5 numbers as authorised phone numbers.

When the tracker arrives no admin is set and therefore the location can be given to any number that calls it.

The device can also be password protected so that and authorised people cannot change the settings. You can locate the device just by calling it and you can find out its status i.e. Battery level signal strength etc via Cody text messages.

If you're wanting to check movement of the device you can set it to send you location information every few seconds minutes or hours. You can also set the tracker to send a location message if it is moved a set number of metres from its original position. There is also a built in microphone which you can set the tracker to transmit sound from its location. There is also a SOS button on the device itself so that if someone is travelling and wants to be located they can press this button and the message will immediately be sent. The battery inside the device is reported to have 240 hours standby ime when in power saving mode.

In conclusion this gadget is amazing for the price and very very useful. There are literally hundreds of potential uses from tracking luggage to elderly parents but for less than £30 and the pay-as-you-go Sim you'll certainly have peace of mind that you know where either are.
